Behind every successful stadium waterproofing project is a team of experienced professionals who combine technical expertise with deep industry knowledge. We’ve spent decades in the field, on project sites ranging from high school stadium renovations to NFL-scale occupied venue projects. Here’s who we are.
25+ Years of Specialized Experience
Leadership Team
Robert Davenport, RCI, CDT
President & Senior Technical Director
Robert founded the company in 1998 after 12 years with national waterproofing manufacturers, where he worked as a technical representative on major stadium and arena projects. He holds RCI (Roof Consultants Institute) and CDT (Construction Documents Technologist) credentials and serves on the ICRI Technical Committee for Traffic-Bearing Waterproofing Systems. Robert has personally overseen technical direction on more than 180 stadium projects across North America.
Sandra Chen, PE
Director of Engineering & Specifications
Sandra joined the team in 2009 bringing a structural engineering background that transformed our approach to specification development. She is a licensed Professional Engineer in 14 states, and leads our specification team in developing project-specific waterproofing and concrete restoration specifications. Sandra is the primary author of our published technical guides and a frequent presenter at CONSTRUCT and CSI chapter events.
Marcus Thompson
Director of Field Operations
Marcus has spent 22 years in waterproofing installation — 16 of them with our company. He leads a field operations team of 45 certified installers and superintendents across our regional operating areas. Marcus developed our quality control protocol (the Stadium-QC system) that has become the standard for all projects over 50,000 square feet. His specialty is occupied venue logistics for projects at active NFL and NCAA venues.
Lauren Pacheco
Director of Client Relations
Lauren manages all ongoing client relationships and is the primary point of contact for clients through project execution and warranty periods. With a background in construction management and a decade of experience in sports venue facilities coordination, she understands the operational pressures that stadium clients navigate and advocates for their interests throughout every project. Lauren oversees our client satisfaction program, which targets a 95%+ client recommendation rate.
Our Field Teams
Our 45-person field team is the backbone of every project we deliver. All field installers complete our internal certification program before working on stadium projects, which covers:
- ICRI concrete surface preparation and profiling standards
- Manufacturer-specific application training for all membrane systems we install
- OSHA 10-hour safety training (minimum); OSHA 30-hour for all lead installers
- Occupied venue safety and logistics protocols
- Quality control documentation and reporting procedures
We believe that installation quality is the single most important factor in waterproofing system performance — more important than material selection and more important than specification quality. A perfectly specified system, improperly installed, will fail. This is why we invest heavily in field team training and why we never subcontract our membrane installation work.
